I visited Fushin’an, the grand tea master of Omote-senke, in Kyoto.  It is called “Iemoto” in Japanese.  There are really few chances to visit and see the Iemoto, even for our teachers, who have been learning chanoyu for several decades.

This is the grand house of Urasenke. It is located just next to the Omotesenke, Fushin’an.

I took a trip to Kyoto with my mother for one night on between 26 and 27.
It has been about ten years since I visited there last, so there are so many places I wanted to see.

When we arrived in Kyoto, we checked our baggage at satellite concierge of Westin Miyako hotel in the station. They transport guests’ baggage to hotel at 200 yen.

Then we took Sagano line to Saga-Arashiyama area, in order to see bamboo streets well known as a famous scene of TV commercial or brochure for traveling Kyoto.

My Ikebana Work #6

7月 5, 2006 : amachotas

I finished learning al the styles of Moribana, so I work on a free style today.
I like Sandersonia most in the flowers used for today’s work.  I wanna be as “charming” as Sandersonia!!

Jasmine (leaves)
It was hard for me to find out that those leaves are Jasmine, since there were no flowers this time.
*Floral Language;  (YELLOW) – Modesty, Grace, Elegance  (WHITE) – Amiability
