The Constant Gardener

By amachotas

The Constant Gardener is entitled " Nairobi no hachi" which means "The Nairobi's bees" or "The bes in/of Nairobi" in Japanese. It will hit the screen on May 13th here in Japan, but fortunately I had a chance to see it sixteen days before that, on April 27th:)

I had stiff shoulders (as always) after seeing the movie. I couldn't move but hold myself or my ears and head with arms ; as there were some brutalized and scary scences and the most of time, Justin was being chased by someone unknown. But I was moved and I like it very much.

I wanted someone like Justin, seeing Tessa and Justin loving each other really deeply. I learned from this story that loving is to keep him or her safe from harm, trusting, and that staying innocent is such irrefragability and fundamental to keep the love. It also made me think that it can be true that some big companies or someone are exploiting for unfair profits, under the shelter of international support.
The pregnant Tessa was amazing! That should be a special make up, but it looked a real.

I went to see this movie with my five co-wokers, but It was only Ms. 'A' and I that was moved and cried.

(Taking about the movie on the next day)Ms. 'A' and I : "The first scene that brought to our tears was when Justin was remembering about Tessa, wasn't it?" "Yeah, it was so painful being carried back about how they met for the first time, her cute simle, and their sweet life of love!!"

(Other senior fellows…)

Ms. 'B' : "I don't remember well… patchy story in my head."

Ms. 'C' : "I was very upset seeing you guys weeping! I had no idea why you were crying, and I tried hard to keep my eyes open several times, but failed.f(^^;)"

Ms. 'D' : "Taking about Jasmin,"

===> I : "No, it's Justin!"(LOL)

Ms. 'E' : ( Takling to her friends, who hasn't seen it yet) " I went to see 'The Niagara's Tigar' yesterday."

Have you seen it yet? What was your impression?
